What is niche perfumery?

Niche perfumery is called this because its market share is relatively small, it invests very little in advertising, the niche brand does not seek you out, but you seek it out. For this reason, it is usually found in unique, carefully chosen points of sale, aimed at a buyer looking for a perfume, a facial or body treatment, a home perfume and gift ideas that are different, that prioritize quality and are not tied to trends.

What is a niche perfume?

When we talk about niche perfumes, we are referring to exclusive products that are only available to a few, the most demanding customers. These are fragrances – whether for men, women or unisex – that offer a very different aroma from traditional fragrances.

In short, niche perfumes could be defined as unconventional and high-quality fragrances, ... of controlled production; they aim to differentiate themselves through originality and quality.

What are the characteristics of niche perfumery?

In selective or designer perfumery, which is how the most famous perfume brands are known and which usually bear the name of fashion brands, we find new launches every year, made to order, not based on real inspiration.

Niche perfumery, on the other hand, has no date and therefore has all the creativity and potential of their noses for a perfume. They are artists and authentic because they have total freedom. These lesser-known firms represent a very small proportion of the perfume market, and their Authors take great care of the quality and quantity in their production.

There are more than 4,500 raw materials that perfumers work with to create new perfumes, and they are divided into natural plant and animal raw materials, isolated natural molecules, and synthetic (chemical) ones. The other components of perfumes are alcohol (very high quality) and purified water. Depending on the concentration of the raw materials, we can talk about extracts (24-40% and lasts between 24 and 48 hours), perfume (15-22% and lasts from 24 to 12 hours), eau de toilette (8-15% and lasts from 12 to 6 hours), cologne (2-4% and lasts from 4 to 2 hours) and fresh water (1-3% and lasts less than 2 hours). In addition, it must be taken into account that the duration of the perfume on the skin always depends on the hydration of the skin. A perfume with natural raw materials is 100% effective 18 months after the first use.

You won't find advertising or marketing for this type of niche cosmetics or perfumery companies, it's one of the aspects that sets them apart. The price of their perfumes ranges from €20 to €........ per 100 ml. It always depends on the concentration of their raw materials.

What is niche or signature cosmetics?

Signature skin care cosmetics are independent, environmentally friendly and almost always natural. They are small (and not multinational) brands, with a personal story behind them, a motivation from their creator and a great deal of research behind them.

On many occasions, they arise from personal projects as a result of dermatological needs with very interesting stories that are worth knowing.

They are characterized by responding to specific and concrete needs of the skin. They provide exclusivity due to their formulations and many of them have a natural, sustainable and environmentally friendly philosophy.

These are products and brands that meet the needs of a demanding public that is not satisfied with traditional cosmetics, and that are also found in very exclusive and specialized perfumeries/websites on these topics.

We have our own laboratory, so we can guarantee the traceability and origin of all raw materials. We make small batches by hand, so that your products always arrive fresh.
To ensure their preservation, we do not use plastic packaging. We package all our products in Violet Crystal, avoiding Bisphenol-A and Phthalates in plastics. Glass is the most sustainable, reusable material with the best recycling rate available.
