CONTRACTUAL TERMS
Below are the contractual terms that will govern the purchase of products and services through the website www.sanchotena.com, owned by María Eugenia Sanchotena Seziland (hereinafter, "the provider" or "Sanchotena"). By accepting these terms, the user confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to the content herein, that they have the capacity to make purchases, and that they accept all obligations outlined in this document.
These Terms are valid indefinitely and will apply to all purchases made through the provider’s website.
Sanchotena reserves the right to unilaterally modify these Terms, without affecting any goods or promotions purchased prior to such modifications.
IDENTIFICATION OF THE PARTIES
On one side, the supplier of the goods contracted by the user is María Eugenia Sanchotena Seziland (Sanchotena), with a registered address at Artekale, 8, Bajo Izquierda, Durango (Bizkaia), and email address: info@sanchotena.com.
On the other side, the user, registered on the website with a username and password, assumes full responsibility for their use and safekeeping and is responsible for the accuracy of the personal data provided to the provider.
PURPOSE
These General Terms of Sale aim to regulate the contractual purchase relationship established between the provider and the user when the user accepts the corresponding checkbox during the online purchasing process.
This contractual relationship involves the delivery of a specific product in exchange for a publicly stated price displayed on the website.
PURCHASE PROCESS
To access the products and services offered by the provider, the user may choose to purchase as a guest or register on the website by creating a user account. In doing so, the user must voluntarily provide the requested personal data.
The user will select a username and password and agrees to use them diligently, not disclose them to third parties, and notify the provider immediately of their loss, theft, or unauthorized access to them so that the provider can block them promptly.
The user may not choose a username that aims to mislead others into identifying them as part of the provider, nor use offensive, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate expressions.
Once the user account is created, the purchasing process will follow these steps, in accordance with Article 27 of Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce:
- Summary (shopping cart).
- Registration (user authentication or account creation).
- Address (selection of delivery address).
- Shipping (selection of shipping method).
- Payment (selection of payment method).
- Confirmation (order completion).
Once the purchase is finalized, the provider’s platform will inform the user via email about all the order details.
PRICE AND VALIDITY OF THE OFFER
The prices displayed for each item include Value Added Tax (VAT) or other applicable taxes and are expressed in Euros (€).
Unless expressly stated otherwise, these prices do not include shipping costs.
The applicable prices for each item are those published on the website and automatically applied during the final step of the purchasing process.
The user accepts that the economic value of some products may vary in real time. In all cases, this will be communicated to the user beforehand.
The user may request an invoice for their purchase at no additional cost.

The subject line of the message must include the order number or reference provided in the purchase confirmation email.
ORDER DELIVERY
Orders will be delivered to the shipping address freely designated by the user. The provider assumes no responsibility if the delivery cannot be completed due to false, inaccurate, or incomplete information provided by the user or due to circumstances beyond the provider's control, such as the recipient's absence.
The provider will take diligent measures to ensure delivery within the agreed time or as soon as possible to satisfy both sender and recipient. No liability can be attributed to the provider for delays.
If an order is not collected and is returned to the provider, return shipping costs must be covered by the user. If the user requests a redelivery, they will bear the new shipping costs.
All items are shipped in perfect condition. If the package appears damaged upon delivery, it is ESSENTIAL that the user notes this on the delivery receipt with comments such as “VISIBLY DAMAGED PACKAGE.”
PAYMENT METHODS
- Credit or debit card: The provider does not store any card details, as they are entered by the user through a secure payment gateway managed by the banking entity. Most cards, including Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Maestro, and American Express, are accepted.
This payment method is immediate, and once the payment is verified, the provider will begin processing the order. No additional fees are charged for this payment method.
SHIPPING
Sanchotena ships orders to destinations within mainland Spain.
- Delivery time: 3 to 5 business days.
- Shipping cost: €5.50. Free shipping for orders over €90.
We do not ship to P.O. boxes.
During high-demand periods such as Christmas, holiday seasons, or Black Friday promotions, delivery times may vary due to external factors beyond the provider's control.
WARRANTY
Sanchotena distributes its products following the highest quality and safety standards. If you receive defective products, we will promptly refund the cost of the product and shipping fees.
RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
Users have the legal right to withdraw from their purchase within fourteen (14) calendar days from receipt of the order without providing a reason.
To exercise this right, the user must notify us via email at info@sanchotena.com. The provider will respond with instructions for returning the product.
The product must be returned in its original condition and packaging, with a copy of the delivery note or invoice. The user will bear the return shipping costs.
APPLICABLE LAW AND JURISDICTION
These terms are governed by Spanish law. For any disputes, the parties agree to submit to the courts of the provider’s location.
