In 2016, in Castellón, self-taught perfumer Sid Martens shaped an idea that had been growing for years: to create a niche perfumery where each fragrance was born from memory rather than formula. This is how Sid Martens Parfums was born, a house of artisanal, purposeful, and unconventional perfumes, designed for those who seek a fragrance with its own identity, far from the generic compositions of commercial perfumery.
Trained alongside haute perfumery references like Christian Carbonnel, Sid developed a personal olfactory universe marked by his passion for noble, intense, and extravagant raw materials. Grandson of a raw material merchant in Spain, his connection to the olfactory craft comes from his family, and each creation of the brand is born from the union of emotion and memory.
The Mediterranean is present throughout the collection: the nights of orange blossom and jasmine, the salty sea breeze, and the aromatic herbs of the mountains surrounding Castellón. Orange blossom—of which the flower, fruit, and leaf are used—is one of the most representative raw materials of the house, extracted from the orange groves that surround the Martens family garden, a true refuge of inspiration for the brand.
Each Sid Martens perfume is conceived as an open story: more than revealing a list of notes, it seeks to awaken an emotion and allow each person to interpret the fragrance from their own sensibility.
