Ponsà Parfums

In the 1960s, Alejandro Ponsà's grandfather worked for a well-known gin brand and wanted to set up his own liqueur distillery. Times were tough and after several attempts he was unable to carry out the project. It was during this period that Alejandro had his first experiences with the art of distillation. Now, Alejandro continues with the art of distillation, but in a completely different sector, the world of signature perfume.

Alejandro began collecting signature perfumes, this passion led him to want to learn how to create his own niche perfume and his own brand: Ponsà Parfums.

Alejandro now teaches a master class in perfumery, he is passionate about nature and what can be learned from it. He has done a lot of field work in plant collection, distillation and production of essential oils. He also had the opportunity to be mentored by some artisanal perfumery professionals in his hometown, Barcelona.

This is how Ponsa Parfums and its first niche perfume, Cedar Forest, were born, a natural perfume, with the pleasant aroma of cedar and its woody character, handcrafted with the best natural ingredients.

Woody, refined and noble aroma… that transmits the penetrating and characteristic smell of cedar, in an exquisite symbiosis with Amber and the rest of the ingredients.
