GERMAN ANGST
GERMAN ANGST

There is a silent comparison we all make at some point, looking over the fence at what others seem to have figured out. German Angst is born from that gesture: the unease of looking at someone else's lawn and always finding it a little greener. Bergamot and mandarin open with an almost defensive citrus freshness, followed by pink pepper and juniper that sharpen the perfume's character. Fig adds a milky green and vegetal quality, while mint cuts through the air like an intrusive thought that cannot be silenced. Over time, animalic notes and modern woods settle the fragrance into something firmer, more individual. German Angst does not promise to eliminate unease: it proposes to wear it with character, to turn it into another way of being in the world.

Sensations
The opening is citrusy and minty, with an immediate aromatic freshness. Pink pepper and juniper then sharpen the character, while fig introduces a milky greenness and elemi a light resin. The base, between patchouli and modern woods, closes with a warm and slightly animalic firmness.
Occasions for use
Days of difficult decisions, interviews, any moment when one needs to walk with a firm step despite doubt.
What makes it special
It reinterprets the classic fougère with a green-animal tension that sets it apart from the conventional.
